Some more lovely statistics from the folks at M:metrics with the top mobile web domains as of March 2007. You'll see that there are no 'mobile' brands up there that aren't network operators.

It's interesting to note that network-operator portals only rank in the UK. I wonder if that's largely because of PDA/SmartPhone popularity in the US, making it easier to get off-portal? Or perhaps the general trend of UK operators of putting obstacles to going off-portal. I wonder how that list looks today, any chance of an update?

I got this info from m:metrics/comscore. It's worth checking back with them to see their latest figures and cross reference it with the monthly statistics that Admob reports on re mobile internet usage.
