I've just been googling and found that a few of my friends have been busy blogging, so I thought it was about time I started too. Especially since I'm quite busy posting on other people's blogs, so here goes.

So what will you read about here...
I'm guessing it will be pretty random as my interests are varied.
I'm a mobile marketing specialist and am passionate about the mobile customer experience and the ability to create a 'mobile moment' TM. I've been working in mobile marketing in the UK since 2000, starting at an outfit called ZagMe, and run over 1600 campaigns now so figure I know a thing or two about the medium and now run a mobile marketing agency called BeepMarketing.

But I'm also interested in the arts and in particular theatre and cinema (being a frustrated actress 'n all). I spent 7 years working in the theatre in my teens and early twenties (at the Swan Theatre in Worcester) and have several claims to fame including:
* dressing Iain Lauchlan (when he played the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Worcester 1982/3) who went on to create The Tweenies. I played a Lady of Oz and a Jitterbug - fortunately missing out on being a munchkin
* being directed by Laurence Boswell in 1985 in Blood Wedding where I played the Queen of Spain (albeit a very young Queen!). He later went on to direct Madonna in Up for Grabs
* acting with Sam Barriscale in Peter Pan (it was his debut). I played Slightly Soiled and he played Tootles. Sam went on to play John Archer for many years in the Archers and can now be seen in Family Affairs.

I went to see Saturday Night Fever at the New Wimbledon Theatre at the weekend, and although it was good, it wasn't great. Unfortunately the whole thing was over-amplified which meant all the voices seemed to merge together. I also know you can hide a multitude of vocal sins with amplification. But it was a pleasant enough way to spend a couple of hours.

And on the mobile side of things, our Cat in the Hat promotion is now live where you can text to win a PS2 and copies of the game.
