Ever wondered about how to use myspace for promoting stuff?

Then wonder no more as James has set it all out for you in 10 easy 'how to's'. Not sure these steps are all entirely legal (graffiti for instance) or what Mr and Mrs Grumpy in Grimsby might have to say about it. Nevertheless, it's worth a read and following on from that thread to read about Jame's Shoreditch MySpace experiment (- my computer's being a bit slow tonight otherwise I'd give you the link for that too..) which is a fascinating glimpse into myspace world.

Hi Helen - just back from South Africa and saw this.

As some-one else pointed out a lot of the 10 things are basically the same approach - use offline methods like posters, flyers, graffiti

To be honest im not sure how effective these are as a way of driving people to your profile but they are all basically examples of the proliferation of myspace around shoreditch and the way that myspace has taken over as a communications method, in preference to email for example.

There's a lot more to say about myspace marketing and I'll hopefully start chucking some posts up soon.

It amazes me how big myspace is right now. Advertising there makes sense, thanks!
